Just for kicks, here's Salvador Dali, walking an anteater. Kind of puts my rabbit-walking to shame.
What a strange week it's been - East Coasters, I hope you're all safe and sound and getting by. I've barely left my neighborhood this week (most subways aren't running yet), and have passed the time reading, taking long walks, eating pie. Looking at photos of what's happened in other areas of the city, I know how lucky I am to have power, heat, and a home that's still standing. See you Monday, and thank you again for all of your very sweet messages!
Happy weekend to you, Shoko! I think I've only ever seen cartoon anteaters, so when I saw your post, I had one of those "Ohhhh. So that's what they look like!" moments.
It's been such a crazy week and I'm so glad you got through the storm in one piece! I hope your friends and family in the city are doing alright too. Also, I must know - what kind pie??
Shoko, it´s good to know you are safe. So sad what´s happened this last week in your country. I hope you will recover very soon.
ReplyDeleteBig hug
I have seen that picture of Dali before and it always makes me smile. It is good to hear that you are okay!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great photo! Sending positive vibes to all those on the east coast whose lives have been disrupted..so many sad stories!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you escaped Sandy unscathed. I am feeling particularly lucky as well since we didn't lose power yet most people who live around us have.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're ok!
Thank you, Kristina, I'm glad you are, too!

If you come to Spain, don't doubt going to Salvador Dali's house, is awesome!!!
So glad you still have power and are safe. So sad to think about the families who lost loved ones, and the people who've lost homes...
