I love the way photographer Nada Lottermann displays images in her Frankfurt apartment, which was profiled recently on Freunde von Freunden. As someone who once wallpapered her college bedroom in Polaroids, Nada's topsy-turvy hodgepodge of frames (third photo down) warms my heart.

PS: New POV entry coming tomorrow. Apologies for the delay - I've been working on the post this morning and am looking forward to sharing come Friday!
It's lovely... I have photos EVERYWHERE in my apartment too. It would be cool to frame them all and make a feature of it.
ReplyDeleteI like the set in the first photograph off to the left. And those floors. I can't wait to hear about your new place!
ReplyDeleteThat's so fun. I used to have a collage of photographs up too. Now I am so lazy about actually printing photos. But this is totally inspiring to put some up!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great apartment, makes me want to hang more photos!
ReplyDeleteinspiring!
ReplyDeleteNicole, I love those, too! And can't wait to share my new apt once I've moved in :)
ReplyDeletewhy not display your favorite photos. this is inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love that wall!
ReplyDeleteI totally love the imperfection in her hodgepodge in the third photo down - it's a way to display art that instantly makes a place seem more homey and casual. Of course, I feel like if I tried to implement that way of decorating in my own apartment, it'd drive me crazy and I'd be constantly fighting the urge to straighten all of them...but maybe not. Maybe I'll have to give it a try and see =]
ReplyDeleteWow it looks gorgeous! I find i generally have all my photos on my computer and dont hang any up anymore. Maybe this will help inspire me to be a bit more proactive!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a wall full of frames :)
ReplyDeleteI especially love that third photo--so gorgeous. I'd love to do something like this in one of the rooms in my apartment!
ReplyDeleteShoko, love the Magrit toast. Reallly awesome.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog!
