Big, Big Blooms.
Monstrous flowers on a Monday, made from crepe paper by San Francisco's Tiffanie Turner. (The ones pictured two images down are pinatas; the rest are from Turner's show at Rare Device, called Heads.) For best viewing, enjoy while listening to this.

Gosh the first flower looks so real, I've seen tutorials for paper flowers but you can always tell they're paper, I guess these go more in the fine art category.
ReplyDeleteLove this ... when I lived away in Abu Dhabi, I made lots of paper flowers to cheer up my too-big-for-me whitewashed apartment. Worked a charm.
ReplyDeleteStunning shots! I love how huge the flowers are!
ReplyDeleteLove it. I've been obsessed with florals lately, both real and on clothing.
