I
found a box of these tiny fabric dolls while helping pack up my parents’ garage in
LA this past weekend, and couldn’t remember what they were. Turns out, they’re
Guatemalan worry dolls - share your anxieties with them, place them under your pillow, and let them whisk away your worries. (I could have used a set this winter.)
I have a bag of these! They sleep in my nightstand and I take them out whenever I need a little extra help. I can't remember who gave them to me. They're so cute!
ReplyDeleteI love worry dolls, too!
ReplyDeleteAwww I used to swear by these!
ReplyDeleteSo good to see them again! :)

Wow, I used to have worry dolls and would sleep with them under my pillow! Seeing the photos of them made me smile! :)
ReplyDeleteLoved these when I was little!
ReplyDeleteWe used to have some of those when I was a kid. I could use a set about now.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea behind these - and I love that everyone seemed to have them, too!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely brings me back to childhood! I would put them under my pillow too to have sweet dreams:)
ReplyDeleteI remember having these as a kid on a hair clip, definitely didn't know about the pillow thing till many years later but it's something that would of made them extra special had I of known.
ReplyDeleteHair clips, yes!
