For a gray-skied Wednesday, fine art photography by Tom Bland of trees, the sea, cloud-covered mountains. I've had travel on my mind these past few weeks, so glimpses into other corners of the world (particularly ones without the chaos of city streets), are always welcome.
Where — if anywhere — are you traveling this fall?
This Saturday I'm heading out on a two-week road trip through the Pacific Northwest with my best friend from high school...pretty nervous but excited for all the beauty we're going to encounter.
ReplyDeleteA cabin in the Berkshires, a house in Connecticut, and a trip or two to Beacon are all in the works. Keeping close to the city but far enough away to breathe fresh air and see nothing but sky.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to Vermont!
ReplyDeleteno plans yet, but daydreaming now!
ReplyDeleteStunning! Love all the travel-related posts lately.
ReplyDeleteI'm always so inspired when artists of any kind showcase their work in unique ways like this! so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI'm travelling 6 hours to see my boyfriend, and perhaps a cross Canada move if I happen to be selected for a job I've applied for. yikes!

ReplyDeleteCarly, I'm jealous! I've been dreaming about the Pacific Northwest lately —report back, please!
ReplyDeleteZoe, that sounds amazing. Perfect fall line-up.
Anon, one of my favorite places :)
Julia, I'm so glad to hear that — more to come!
Dakota, that's so exciting! Fingers crossed!
Two trips to Vegas to help my parents prepare to move. Maybe some fun weekend getaway over Christmas break. August-December are tough with school schedules to work around.
ReplyDeleteThese prints are so dreamy!! I just spent quite a bit of time looking through the whole Etsy shop! We just returned from Traverse City, Michigan and it was just lovely. Now we're back to reality with a bathroom remodel starting in a few days, eek!
ReplyDeleteBrianna, so nice to look forward to the holidays, though :)
ReplyDeleteNicole, good luck!
My husband and I just returned from two weeks in Bali and these photos are encouraging me to turn some of our pictures into art for the apartment. I love having those reminders of travels in plain sight instead of always trapped in the hard drive. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteABAH, that's such a great idea. Just checked out your photos and they're beautiful!
